Wise Collection 4: Footage mainly taken at colonial home, 1940

The footage is mostly of British couples and dogs, as well as of a Christian building (possibly a church or religious school). (00.00 to 00.50) Details of a house are filmed, along with a group of Indian men in the yard, who are chatting and laughing together. (00.51 to 01.15) A European woman is filmed with a large dog (great dane) sitting in the back seat of a car. The woman, and a European man, are then seen playing with the large dog, and a smaller spaniel in a garden. (01.16 to 02.22) A group of Indian men, women and children gather on the porch of a building with a sign that reads: Jesus lives to save from sin (written in English, Arabic and two other languages). Formally dressed European men and women are also present. (02.23 to 03.36) Two men, a woman (who appeared in the footage outside under the Jesus sign) and an Indian man play with a terrier dog in a garden. Creator: Arthur Arnold Wise
