The Château de Bridoré is a former fortified castle from the fourteenth to fifteenth centuries which stands in the French town of Bridoré, in the department of Indre-et-Loire, in the Center-Val de Loire region.
The Château de Bridoré is a medieval military fortress (14th-15th century), with a unique defense system in France (four caponiers), steam rooms, ditches, a 30-metre high keep. Around 1590, the castle was lined with false braies on which the four caponiers were attached in the ditch, which are only visible at the top of the counterscarp5.
