In left corner, resting on a red gold-clasped volume, an open Bible, with an illumination of the Annunciation and a written page. A globe behind it and in front parchments and a seal. A large cabinet with open doors across to centre. On the right door a Durer print of Frederick the Wise, Elector of Saxony, inscribed with name and ALBERTUS DURER MVR FACIEBAT B.M.F.V.V. M.D. XXIIII. A double door is open disclosing coins and jewels. A blue casket on the ground holding a chalice; coins and shells before. Pictures and drawings by Lucas van Leyden and Aldegrever on the ground to right. Above them a full length marble figure in Roman toga. Top left corner over a door a picture of a woman seated profile left looking front. Next to it a portrait of a man holding a palm in his right hand, over his head a wheel. A coat of arms to left, a shield with a large cross in centre, and four little crosses in the angles. Next, a large picture of the Nativity. To right a marble bas-relief tomb, over a dark mountain landscape, in front of which is a bronze Pythian Apollo. To right, through an arch, a collection of classical marble figures including the Tiber, Romulus and Remus and the Spinario, in a domed hall The print shown on the inner door of the cabinet is Albrecht Durer's portrait of 1524 of Frederic the Wise, Elector of Saxony. The Nativity at the top of the picture is the painting by Aert Claesz. (Aertgen an Leiden) which in 1617 was in the collection of Frans Francken the Elder, in 1640 in the collection of Rubens and today in the Wallraf-Richartz Museum, Cologne
