Rebecca Dulicbella Orpen (1830-1923) and British School (Margaret Carpenter?). Oil painting on canvas, Margaret Anne Ferrers, Mrs Arthur Edward Onslow (d.1892), British School (Margaret Carpenter?), and Rebecca Dulcibella Ferrers Orpen, later Mrs Edward Dering (1830 – 1923), circa 1845. A half-length portrait, almost facing, head looking to the left, wearing a grey dress with a corsage, and a mantilla. Daughter of Edward Ferrers of Baddesley Clinton. Second daughter of Edward Ferrers of BaddesleyClinton and Lady Harriett Townshend, married in 1846 to Colonel Arthur Edward Onslow of the Scots Fusilier Guards (1815-1897), 3rd son of the Hon. Thomas Cranley Onslow, of Stoke Park, Surrey, and Upton House, Hants., the 2nd son of Thomas, 2nd Earl of Onslow. Their eldest son, Charles Vere Townshend Onslow, was senior co-heir to the baronies of Ferrers, Bourchier, and Compton, and in 1898 was authorised by royal licence to bear the name of Mainwaring-Ellerker-Onslow.
