An Albanian border policeman and two soldiers look at the Serbian side, in front of Kosovo's town of Djakovica, at the border point of Qafe e Prushit, 280 km northeast of the capital Tirana April 30. The situation in Serbia's Kosovo province with an ethnic Albanian 90 percent majority, escalated to a bloody conflict two months ago when at least 80 Albanians were killed due to a Serbian police crackdown on separatist Albanian groups. While Belgrade has increased its army border presence, Albania's army is on alert and denies Serbia's charges of supporting terrorism and infiltrating weapons and people across the rugged mountanious border.
