Image description

Harold Feinstein, 1931-2015, was the youngest member of the progressive Photo League in New York, an influential street photographer, and legendary teacher. He began scanography, direct imaging on a flatbed scanner, with shells, flowers, and foliage in the 1990s. His direct digital portraits resulted in four books including the “One Hundred Seashells.”
