Bernese Oberland Spiez The gently rising shores are covered with lovely villages surrounded by orchards, vineyards, green mats and small woods. Soon the lake shines like a silver surface, soon it throws back the image of the surrounding landscape like a mirror, soon the water curls in small waves over which the light shivering trembling. In the distance emerges in a charming bay Spiez with its stately castle, just like the other villages on the lake, forming a very popular summer resort.
