Morocco The German auxiliary cruiser 'Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse' (= William the Great) sinks after a battle with the British cruiser 'Highflyer'. The 'Highflyer' had surprised the ship in neutral territory in front of the then Spanish port of Rio de Oro (Spanish Western Sahara) in the coal bunkers and sunk after the consumption of the ammunition of his team.
