organisation of Youth Fascist in 1937 to replace the Opera Nazionale Balilla - FASCISMO card of the Italian Youth of the Littorio of the year XVII of the Fascist Era, headed to the ten year old ""Son of the She-wolf"" Alessio Anna of Vallecrosia (IM), on which is printed the oath imposed on the children: ""In the name of God and Italy I swear to carry out the orders of the DUCE and to serve with all my strength and if necessary with my blood the cause of the Fascist Revolution"". The GIL was founded by Royal Decree of October 27, 1937, in force since the sixteenth year of the fascist era, from the confluence of the Opera Nazionale Balilla, created for young people of both sexes from 6 to 17 years, and the Fasci Giovanili di Combattimento (18-21 years), to promote the spiritual, sporting and military preparation of Italian boys, basing it on the principles of the ideology of the regime, within an organization controlled directly by the national secretariat of the PNF. The card also specifies the social security benefits in case of accident, provided by the Mutual Assistance Fund ""Arnaldo Mussolini"", provided that the conditions in the regulation are met.
