A mental patient is being treated in a private hospital at Kishorganj run by Dr. Sultan Uddin Bhuiyan. The has his own mode of treatment for mental sickness called'chain them up'. The patients are provided only vegetable and rice as food. Based on the condition of the patients, the vegetable variety changes from time to time. Hair wash is done on a regular basis. But the patients are never allowed to take a complete bath. Scientific medications of any type are also never used. 'Medallion' and 'Blessed Water' from traditional spiritual elites are the only type of treatment available. (photo)
