Sejdiu said he saw 23 people machined gunned and then stabbed by Serb military and paramilitaries in Obiliq, a suburb on the outskirts of Pristina. Sejdiu and 409 other Kosovo refugees arrived in Australia May 7, the first of 4,000 refugees offered temporary safe haven by the Australian government as Serb forces attempt to clear the Yugoslav province of ethnic Albanians. They are undergoing medical tests at an army processing centre outside Sydney before being moved to a former army barracks in Tasmania state later in the week. MDB/jir
