Jesus Christ is naked and waist-deep into the water of the Jordan River, flowing between two mountains; He raises his arms towards St. John the Baptist, who blesses him from the right bank; in the sky appears the Eternal Father, holding the book and outstretching the right arm towards the Son; on the right bank an old man with halo anc long beard and a young man are waiting to be baptized, while on the left four angels stand, holding out to the Lord the garments he was previously despoiled of; on the right decorative band is a lobed cornice in which is depicted the circumcision of a child.
