Accompanying note provides caption, ‘THE RHINELAND AND THE BATTLE SOUTH OF UDEM, 4 March 1945: Lt Ted Deeming with crew after the Schlieffen Line had been breached. Challenger tank with 17-pdr gun and Browning 0.30 in. machine gun.
