Two women wear flags bearing the name and initials of the Orange Free State. One woman's flag has two fists with the thumbs up salute embroidered onto it. They all wear rosettes and at least two women have the diagonal registration label worn at the Congress of the People held on June 25 and 26 1955 in Kliptown, Johannesburg. The Freedom Charter was produced by this Congress.
