Returning from a victorious campaign, Abraham met Melchisedech (Melchisedec or Melchizedek or Melkisedeq or Melki-Tsedeq or Melki Tsedeq), king of Salem who brought him bread and wine. He was a priest and pronounced this blessing: “Beni be Abraham by the high God who created heaven and earth, and blessed be the Most High God who delivered your enemies into your hands.” And Abraham gave him the dime of all things.
