Sculptor Johannes Schilling, architect Karl Weissbach. On the top the statue of the Germania (height 12,5 m), middle left Allegory of war, middle right Allegory of Peace, Relief in the middle King William of Prussia (since 1871 emperor William I.) on horse with the german princes and generals before the franco-prussian war 1870/1871, above personifications of the Rhine and the Moselle. Total height of the monument 38,18 m.
Niederwalddenkmal, errichtet 1877-1883 zur Erinnerung an die Neugründung des deutschen Kaiserreichs 1871. Bildhauer Johannes Schilling, Architekt Karl Weißbach. Oben das Standbild der Germania (Höhe 12,5 m), links Allegorie des Krieges, rechts Allegorie des Friedens, in der Mitte Bronzerelief mit dem Aufbruch in den deutsch-französischen Krieg 1870/1871 mit König Wilhelm von Preußen (ab 1871 Kaiser Wilhelm I.) zu Pferd und den deutschen Fürsten und Generälen, unten Personifikationen des Rheins und der Mosel. Gesamthöhe des Denkmals 38,18 m. Rüdesheim, Deutschland, Hessen, am Rhein.
