Image description

This photograph was part of an 'Artist in Industry Fellowship' based at Leeds City Council's Department of Industry and Estates between March-August 1985. My purpose was to record the various initiatives aimed at providing permanent employment for young people and the long term unemployed. These included youth training schemes (YTS), start up small business loan schemes, skill workshops and advice centres which were designed to form an integrated strategy for economic regeneration, all of which received financial support from Leeds City Council.
