The house is the name of a kindergarten in Reggio Emilia.
The documentary, through the story of a group of parents, gathered in the school garden, recalls the story that led to the use of an old house as a kindergarten abandoned. The need to find a place for the four hundred children of the neighborhood, the occupation of the premises of the house by their parents, the work of arranging the rooms, carried out are then narrated by the citizens themselves, the popular mobilization to raise funds. This is how this school structure was born, in which parents have also rediscovered their role as educators, participating in the life of the school and in the activities of children, their games, their experiences expressive, to their collective life.
