CSS Arkansas running through the Union fleet at Vicksburg on 15 July, 1862, during American Civil War, as illustrated by J O Davidson. While in pursuit of USS Tyler and USS Queen of the West, CSS Arkansas ran into the whole Union fleet. By keeping close to the enemy ships, which were immobile at the time, she was able to inflict more damage than she received and make it safely to Vicksburg.
