CINEMA MUTO Manifesto of the film “Where the North Begins”, starring the German sheepdog Rin Tin (September 1918 - August 10, 1932) together with human actors Claire Adams (September 24, 1898 - September 25 1978) and Walter McGrail (October 19, 1888 - March 19, 1970); it is the third film in which the famous dog-actor (out of 27 of his career) performs, for the subject of Lee Duncan (October 1, 1892 - September 20, 1960) , owner and trainer of Rinty, and his co-script with Millard Webb (6 December 1893 — 21 April 1935), directed by Chester M. Franklin (1 September 1889 — 12 March 1954). In the illustration Rin-Tin-Tin, who was raised as one of his own puppies by a herd of wolves, lookout on a cliff; in the round his human friend, the French leather hunter Gabriel Dupre, with the girlfriend, escape the treacherous Shad Galloway thanks to the loyalty of the four-legged friend.
