The capital — with its disorderly growth — has absorbed tens of thousands of peasants, who try to escape uncomfortable conditions of life and work, isolation, misery and exploitation. This led to profound economic and social imbalances, which have increased the state of depression of this and other areas of Lazio, such as Sabina, the Tolfa mountains, the high Aniene valley and the lower valley of the Tiber. 01.
