A longboat used to ferry passengers, in the background other sambuks coming into port. Various shots of Zanzibar gardens, parks and street scene. Including the clock tower (Beit el Ajeib), band stand, twin church towers (Anglican Cathedral). Various shots featuring the crew busy on board steeping in the mast and heaving a heavy rope. Sailing up Rufiji river past the wrecks of Newbridge and Konigsberg. East African coast going north with the ‘Bedri’ sailing nearby. Features the craggy coastline of Oman, Muscat inlet as the ship enters Mutrah Bay, features several sambuks sailing out of the harbour.
