Oil painting on canvas (oval), Bridget Gee, Mrs Ralph Pennyman (m. 1732; d. 1774) by Philippe Mercier (Berlin 1689 – London 1760), probably between 1739 and 1751 when the artist was living in York. An oval half-length portrait, facing, left, with short dark hair and wearing a low cut pink dress trimmed with lace and pearls. [TA: cf.
