Shirley Shackleton, widow of one the five journalists killed in Balibo, East Timor, in 1975, talks to the media in Sydney April 26 before the airing of a television programme which claims to have new information on the deaths. Shackleton says a Timorese man claims to have witnessed former Indonesian special forces commander Yunus Yosfiah, who later became information minister in the Indonesian government, opening fire on the journalists. He has been accused in the past of ordering the killings but has denied the allegations. The five journalists were killed shortly before Indonesia invaded the former Portuguese colony of East Timor in late 1975 and their remains have never been found. DG/TS
