Charlotte Aglaé d'Orléans, (20 October 1700 – 19 January 1761), Duchess of Modena and Reggio, third daughter of Philippe II, Duke of Orléans, and of his wife, Françoise-Marie de Bourbon. The baluster ewer on pedestal edged with oves, the body with chiseled decoration and engraved with trellises and shells on a matte background in cartridges, the neck decorated with wavelets, the spout decorated with shell and flowers, the handle in threaded winding with cherub head attachment, the hinged cover in waves, the button grip on a gadrooned terrace, the oval basin on a pedestal with nets, the edge decorated with wavelets and a frieze of flowers centered on a shell on a matte background, the applied sides of a blowing cherub head, engraved on the body and in the basin of the alliance coat of arms surmounted by a duke's crown, hallmarks under the body: traces of charge and jurande (letter VS); under the basin: charge and jurande.
