Richard I (8 September 1157 – 6 April 1199) was King of England from 6 July 1189 until his death. Historia rerum in partibus transmarinis gestarum, in French, with continuation to 1231. TRANSLATION, into French, and continuation to 1231, of the Latin history of the Crusades by Guillelmus (William) , Archbishop of Tyre (1174-1190 ?). The French text of William is printed by Paulin Paris (Guillaume de Tyr, Paris, 1879).
