British troops march across the Hohenzollern Bridge to join the British Army of the Rhine. Established in March 1919, the Army of the Rhine was part of the Allied occupation force that entered the Rhineland after the November 1918 Armistice. British troops remained in Germany until 1929. From a collection of 96 stereoscopic photographs entitled The Great War including the official series.
