Viktor Pavlovich Kin (Surovikin) (1903-37) was a Russian writer and journalist. In 1937, he became the Le Journal de Moscou editor. Soon after, he was arrested and executed as the enemy of the people. His novel "The Other Side" is a romantic report on the Russian civil war in the Far East in 1921-1922.
