Demonstration of the PDa and the Communist Youth Association in front of the hotel where the brothers Hans and Fritz Schlumpf temporarily live in Basel. The Smurf brothers' spinning mills in Mulhouse in Alsace are on the verge of bankruptcy. More than 1500 jobs are in danger. The brothers let the companies go bankrupt and instead invested in their expensive hobby. They collected vintage cars and set up a car museum in Mulhouse. As a precautionary measure, the French state had the private assets and the car museum of the brothers confiscated.
