Taiwan Foreign Minister John Chang gestures during an interview June 26 in Taipei. Chang said Taiwan's people wish Hong Kong well in its July 1 transition to rule by communist China, but stressed that the territory's future success or failure held no lessons for Nationalist-ruled Taiwan in its long-running rivalry with Beijing.
