Waffenschmiede. Im 16 Jahrhundert stand die edle Waffenschmiedekunst in Deutschland, vor allem zu Augsburg, in hoher Blute. Namhafte Kunstler zeichneten oft die Ornamente, um damit die Rustungsteile, Dolch- und Schwertscheiden in sorgfaltiger Ziselier- und Atzarbeit zu schmucken. Die genaue Zusammensetzung der einzelnen Teile zu einer vollstandigen Rustung erfordert grosse Geschicklichkeit. Translation: Gunsmiths.
