One of the most famous game reserves in the world, Chobe National Park , is home to large populations of animals and over 450 species of birds. Known for its large herds of elephants and the beautiful region of Savuti , where you can see a lot of predators. One of its main attractions is the annual migration of zebras. It is the second largest national park in Botswana and covers 10,566 km. Chobe is divided into four distinctly different eco systems: Serondela with its lush plains and dense forests in the Chobe River area in the extreme north-east; the Savuti Marsh in the west; the Linyanti Swamps in the north-west and the hot dry hinterland in between. The original inhabitants of the area were the San people or Bushmen , hunters and gatherers who were constantly moving in search of water, food and wildlife. Photographed in 2013
