A three-quarter-length portrait of a mature man, the thrid son of Hanry Jones and Anne Fettiplace, standing, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, in a long wig and wearing dark robes with lace cuffs and cravat and gilt buttons; holds rolled document in right hand. Column base and sky behind him to the right. He bacame Chancellor of the Dioces of Bristol in 1669, in succession to Gilbert Jones, his uncle. Chastleton House, Oxfordshire (Accredited Museum)
