"J", a five year old Thai boy infected with the AIDS virus contracted at birth from his now deceased mother, shows his tiny arms to the press at a protest outside the United States Embassy in Bangkok January 18. A group of up to 200 HIV/AIDS campaigners rallied to urge the U.S. Government to relax a patent on the anti-retro viral drug "Didanosine", to allow Thailand's one million AIDS sufferers access to a locally-manufactured version of the drug that at the moment is produced under licence by one U.S. company.
