Bernice Edwards yawns during jury selection for the trial of prominent Baptist minister Henry Lyons (L) at Pinellas County Criminal Courthouse in Largo, January 12. Lyons, 56, president of the National Baptist Convention USA, pleaded not guilty to the charges of racketeering and grand theft made by State Attorney Bernie McCabe in February, 1998. The charges stem from an investigation that began after Lyons' wife Deborah set fire on July 7, 1997, to the $700,000 house he owned with co-defendant Bernice Edwards in St. Petersburg.
