A Turkish Cypriot boy paints graffiti with Turkish and Greek Cypriot children September 27 during a festival in the buffer zone dividing north and south. The graffiti reads as "No to S-300 missiles" referring to a Greek Cypriot plan to deploy Russian -made S-300 missile system which has increased the tension on the island. United Nations mission in Cyprus held a bicommunal festival September 27 in front of Ledra Palace Hotel in the buffer zone which divides Turkish and Greek Cyprus, to get together two communities and ease the tension on the island.
