Image description

The work was made by the Flemish painter during his Genoese stay, between 1621 and 1625. It can probably be identified with the painting quoted in the will of 1664 by Jerome Durrës of Genova. The canvas merged into the Savoy collections in 1824, following the purchase by the Savoy of the Durrës Palace in Genoa.
