Alla fine della guerra, calato il bisogno di aerei, iniziò a produrre motociclette. Ma nel 1922 un disastroso incendio rase al suolo lo stabilimento e la Martinsyde fu liquidata.Nella sua breve storia la Martinsyde diede vita a un 350 monocilindrico, e a tre bicilindrici a valvole contrapposte, su progetto di Howard Newman: un 680 cc, un 740 cc e questo bellissimo Sports di 500. Di tutta la produzione sopravvivono solo 19 esemplari.
