Sep. 09, 1953 - Bob Hope Arrives - To Appear At Palladium. Comedian Bob Hope arrived at London Airport from New York, to appear at the London Palladium for two weeks commencing Sept. 14th. With him was Hollywood film star Gloria De Haven, making her London debut - who will also appear at the Palladium with her own solo song offering as well as appearing with Bob Hope later in the program.
