Alice Barnham (nee Bradbridge) (1523-1604) born in Chichester youngest child of William Bradbridge; married Francis Barnham (1515-76) draper and London alderman; lived in a house on St Clements Lane, Eastcheap. Alice ran the retail branch of the family business and was considered to be a professional silkwoman. Successful financially and Francis granted coat of arms and sons became country gentlemen. Mary Tudor on throne in 1557. formerly titled 'Lady Ingram and her two sons, Martin and Steven';
