Three-full-length figures, two young ladies on left and right with a young girl in the centre. The figure on the left, standing, is wearing a blue dress and white apron in which she has gathered flowers. The young firl in the centre is seated wearing a yellow dress and white apron and holds the hand of the young lady on the right, wearing a pink dress, a rose at her bosom and holding a straw hat in her left hand. A pug dog sits on the far right. Landscape setting, with far horizon and blue cloudy sky. Two of the daughters of Lister Selman (b. 1708) and his wife Sarah Mitford (d.1738) who married in 1730.
