Three-quarter-length portrait of a young woman, the youngest daughter of the 4th Baronet (Mary), who died in 1752, seated, turned slightly to the right, head inclined to the left, gazing at the spectator, Behind her is a dark landscape. She wears a white dress with a long stiff bodice and full sleeves lined with blue and trimmed with lace. Her dark hair is dressed with pearls and she holds a garland of flowers across her lap (inventory card). Calke Abbey, Derbyshire (Accredited Museum)
