Oil painting on canvas, An Unknown Woman, known as 'The Bride', possibly Anne Conyngham, Mrs David Butle or Elizabeth Conyngham, Lady Staples (d.1681), British (English) School, 1660s. Three-quartr length portrait of a young woman, seated, turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, wearing a blue dress over a white chemise, with a red cloak, draped over her left arm and across her lap. She wears a single strand pearl necklace and pearl-drop earrings. Her dark brown hair, has a centre parting, a ringlet on her left shoulder.
