The marriage of Prince George, Duke of York (later King George V (1910-36)) and Princess Mary of Teck (later Queen Mary) in the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace, 6 July 1893 The Duke wore naval uniform with the Collar of the Order of the Garter. His bride wore a dress of rich white satin brocaded with silver and trimmed with Honiton lace and orange blossom.
