Due to the call of the Chain of Luck/Chaine du Bonheur, in February 1952 the collection for the victims of the severe floods in the Po Valley is in high demand at No. 11. For the first time the telephone subscribers have the possibility to pay their mite via No. 11. In just two hours, over 200,000 francs were collected in this way. - In 1946 Europe was marked by the Second World War. The two radio producers Roger Nordmann, Paul Vallotton and the entertainer Jack Rollan created a programme that would soon become one of the most popular radio games in Western Switzerland. A collection campaign as a chain of solidarity linked people together and helped to alleviate suffering. The radio had invented the “Chaine du Bonheur”, the “Gluecks-Kette”.
