Sep. 09, 1953 - Station Baby Is Their New Brother Two library books solved the mystery of the mother of platform four, who gave birth to a baby boy in a stationmaster's office. She collapsed in a train at Horsham, Sussex, railway station on Tuesday night. Railway staff carried fer the office and called Red Cross nurses, who delivered the baby. The mother and baby were taken to hospital, but the mother lay in a private ward for 20 hours, unable the to say who she was or where she came from. After police found two books she had taken from a library, they traced her as Mrs Adela Mitchell, 20 year old ex-actress and mother of two, who lives at Morat street, Brixton. Mrs. Mitchell's husband, Robert, 32 year old unemployed theater electrician, hurried to the hospital last night. The two children at home, Fay, aged 2 and Cleo aged 1; were taken to welfare institution. Mr Mitchell nurses Cleo aged one, while two year old Fay meets policewoman Dartrell. She took the two children so that thier father could visit
