Germany The bow of the destroyed German military airship 'Z II' (LZ 5) after the emergency landing near Weilburg an der Lahn. Soldiers try to salvage the Zeppelin. After its first flight on 26.05. 1909 and a successful endurance journey (29.05.-02.06. 1909), the 'LZ 5' was transferred to the military government as 'Z II' on 05.08. 1909 in Cologne. After the airship stranded on 25.04. 1910 at Weilburg, the ship was finally scrapped.
