This picture is a reproduction taken from a color television transmission made by the color RCA TV camera mounted on the lunar roving vehicle. Noting that they had collected a very significant rock composed of many fragments, Schmitt said, “” A portion of a rock will be sent to a representative agency or museum in each of the countries represented by the young people in Houston today...”” 13 Dec 1972
