Berne bombing (colour litho)

Image description: Bombing in Bern. Two Magyar refugees, on the pretext of asking for information, entered the Hungarian legation of that city. Just inside, with the revolvers spread out on the employees, they held their hands up. One of them went to a closet to remove some papers. The officials reacted. After pulling out the guns they had on hand, they opened fire on the two. Then, called by the Hungarian minister himself, the Swiss police officers intervened and picked up one of the seriously injured bombers from the ground and immobilized the other. The two refugees are 22-year-old Andre Papp and 21-year-old Sandor Nagy, workers who had participated in the Budapest uprising. Illustration for Courier Sunday, 31 August 1958.
