The injured passengers of the crashed aircraft of the air rescue service, in the foreground the parachute instructor Guenther Erzinger, and the rescuers on the upper stone glacier in the canton of Bern, on 13 October 1957. In connection with the training camp of the participants of the Swiss Dhaulagiri expedition in 1958, the air rescue service carried out a parachute jump exercise, in which a P-4 airplane crashed on the glacier. The four occupants could be brought by a glacier plane and three helicopters to the Interlaken hospital, where one of them, Guenther Erzinger, succumbs to his injuries
